Ikonisys appoints J. Timothy Corcoran to Board of Directors

New Haven, CT, November 6, 2006:

Ikonisys, Inc., a leading developer of cell-based diagnostic products, today announced the appointment of J. Timothy Corcoran to its Board of Directors. Mr. Corcoran brings to the Board over 30 years of experience, most recently as a senior executive with Thermo Electron Corporation, a world leader in analytical instruments. Tim came to us highly recommended by one of our lead investors, Palisade Capital. His extensive background in finance as well as in marketing and commercialization of laboratory products will add valuable experience to the Board of Directors at Ikonisys, said Petros Tsipouras, M.D., Chairman and CEO of Ikonisys. Dr. Tsipouras continued, The Board and I welcome Mr. Corcoran's insights and look forward to drawing on his experience and understanding of the laboratory industry as Ikonisys works to expand its fastFISH® and oncoFISH® FISH product lines. Mr. Corcoran is currently President of Nauset Investment Company Inc. which is a private company specializing in investments. Prior to this he served as Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Thermo Electron Corporation. Previously, Mr. Corcoran served as President and CEO of Thermo Power Corporation and Vice President of Strategic Planning and Acquisitions at United Technologies Corporation.
